Sam Niemi, r.g.d.

Though the business is new, Sam has been around for several years. Since earning his Graphic Design diploma from Sheridan College in 1997 and returning to Thunder Bay, Sam Niemi has been leaving his creative mark all over the local and regional design scene. After nearly 5 years with Thunder Bay's most reputable agencies, Sam established Sam Niemi DesignWorks in 2002 with the idea of making an agency more receptive to client needs—smaller, more affordable, and one that respects clients and their deadlines. Sam has designed a wide range of advertising and corporate communication pieces, ranging from logos to brochures, annual reports and web sites. He has worked with a variety of clients and agencies: Korkola Design Communications, Dave Koski Design, Generator Advertising + Design, Lakehead Printing, Thunder Bay District Health Unit, Lutheran Community Care Centre, North of Superior Tourism Association, Township of Nipigon, Big Thunder Nordic Ski Club, National Team Development Centre - Thunder Bay, and Habitat for Humanity Thunder Bay.

Sam has been a member of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario since its inception in 1996.
